Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! It has been a long time since a personal blog post has came out. Life got in the way and I doubted myself for doing this blog, because I failed in one other goal and it was reflected in my days.

I questioned myself…

My inner voice told me…no one would wanna read what I had to say. 😐

But I did miss this because I like letting my own voice out, and writing out to help people in anyway.

I am gonna change the blog and try to see what I can. 🙂

I gave up…but I give up trying to do nothing and not feel anything.

In change, but growing to see to become a bit more self-care with sharing stories.

Because I am a storyteller in my own way, and like reading and listening to other to help in anyway I can.

Hope everyone has a Happy New Year and let this new year brings good exciting stories and adventures.

Silence….No Drama Good Books….Meditate

What brings you peace?

Silence and nice sounds in the morning give a sense of peace

As a quiet person who now realizes a good part of “The Let Them Theory” and focuses on myself more to just live peaceful.

I don’t get involved in people’s issues, problems, gossip, or rumors because that brings a headache on its on.

If people speak about me…Let Them

Don’t try to control people or anything because it’s more peaceful.

Meditation and reading a good book are methods that bring me peace.

Just not thinking and relaxing and putting my mind into learning something new and not staring at a screen gives a good peaceful mind.

Take a Break & Journal Your Thoughts

What strategies do you use to maintain your health and well-being?

Mental Health is something I did not consider important, until 3 years ago I got wiser and had a lot of personal factors….something that took me to a very low point in my life and I didn’t know how to get out.

So I just thought and searched online what is something I can do to improve my mornings and not feel depressed….

And some strategies that I found out…

1. Try and make a routine to help lessen the load. With mornings and evenings.

2. Add small healthy habits slowly to help your mental and physical well-being.

3. Exercise although tiring and hard at first can go a long way and helps…

4. Don’t wait to start something or learn something new just do it.

5. Meditation and time to yourself is a very important factor that is healthy to add.

6. Journaling your thoughts, fears, aspirations, anger, joy, sadness, and happiness is a good outlet to release stress

7. Planning out meals brought a new joy and improved my mental health because I don’t feel the need to rush or stuck in confusion.

8. Take a break during the day…too much time on one or multiple things will lead to burnout.

I am still reading and looking at some more good advice to add to help me but I still keep on trying. 🙂

Habits are Helpful

How do you practice self-care?

I used to neglect my self-care because of the same old excuses…

I’m busy

I don’t have time

The day is already over so what is the use

However, reading a book called Atomic Habits and listening to some good YouTube influencers who practice self-care has helped me.

Still a beginner, but taking it more seriously.

Some habits with the following cue, craving, reward and response that I have started for my self-care are…

  1. Do not open my phone until 1 hour or 2 when I wake up
  2. Drinking water when I wake up
  3. Trying to sleep early and prioritize sleep
  4. Eating more healthy food and making my meal plan to try new recipes
  5. Exercise in the morning and walking more to help my well
  6. Create a morning and night skincare routine
  7. Meditation when I work at home to reset my mind
  8. Journaling: writing how I felt on paper than keeping it in and becoming mentally unwell
  9. New Hobbies & Comfort Zone. I’m trying to grow more as a person by putting myself out there where its uncomfortable
  10. Limit screen time and reading books
