As a millennial living in the twentieth century, with a lot of females, even guys, anything to describe, they would always say the word… like.
It is used in every type of sentence especially when you want to express something or you want to describe an example…Like it’s used quite a lot of times.
Usually in social terms in the popular term, it’s just a quick and usually fashionable way to say.
The first job that I admire is teachers because they’re underrated for how they set the course for many individuals. A new generation every year to every decade to every century directs their paths in what they would like for themselves in the future.
I’m sure that some of the people nowadays kind of look back on school whether they were good or bad. And kind of recommend how they had a good teacher to help direct them on who they are. And what makes them happy to consider for the rest of their lives
Doctor
The second job that I admire is doctors in any specialty because they have the knowledge and we’re blessed with such skills that save people’s lives. Watching on TV and experiencing in person is how they’re kind of a support system where a person’s life is at stake. And they can be all of the things at once. They can be a figure of comfort and or they can be an advisor.
They’re developing new technologies and methods and the skills creating a sense of hope for people.
Detectives
For the third job that I admire is a detective, it’s because, well, let’s say it’s good to know how people are thinking, and their skills of observation making sure that nothing can be held back from them. They have a wide range of masses of knowledge in psychology, science, methods of deception, to medicine, to make sure that he was no one pulls a wool over their eyes, which is cool.
I’ve always admired them because they’re the only people who can read you like a book other than lawyers and you can’t lie to them. 😏
What change, big or small, would you like your blog to make in the world?
For my blog, I like to focus on the stories that I take or I write about, or I experience or even other people’s stories just to discuss it more.
I’m just a beginner, but I just want to make a small change in the world. If one person gets to see what I write, it brings a smile or changes their mood, or uplifts their day. That’s good for me. And that’s my goal.
Hopefully, a small smile on a person’s face from my blog can experience laughter a small smile or a change in mood and extend to a big change throughout the world.
I’m such a huge anime fan, that if I had to choose an alternate universe to explain my life in there….
It can be between 2 options, so why not both? 😄
Option 1: Alternative Universe (One Piece)
I wake up on the top of my big pirate ship… 🚢
Sun beams through and one my crew members calls me down for breakfast
Quickly change and get ready and hop on a nearby rope and swing down and land on my vice captain and my medical help and laugh together
And go into the kitchen to a nice meal and loud fussing of my 12 pirate crew
We all laugh and play around
If there is any trouble, I will help defend and fight to get the navy off my back
Escaping and challenging myself to next big threat
So in summary, my life would be carefree and finding adventure and meeting so much people and feeling free on the sea. 😉
Option 2: Alternate Universe (Detective Conan)
Waking up in a big mansion in my house with my family, 2 big brothers and one big sister. 😀
My parents would be well-known and give me more freedom and fewer restrictions.
My brothers would be a police officer high executive and the other would be an entertainer. My sister would be a doctor that is overly cautious.
Me… I would be in high school and working to be a detective like the main character.
Also, I would work with the police department as a consultant to help with cases no matter how dangerous.
I’ll wake up doing the nice routine and say hello my family members. Mom and Dad are off on a business trip but still have the make time to video call us.
My 3 or 4 classmates comes to pick me up for school and we all work together.
I would an acquaintance that I argue, but it will be one of those instances where I argur with him all thr time but don’t know when I start to fall for him
I would have a scientist as friend with a small family friend that helps me and build me different I can use.
I use a scooter or electric scooter to get places and have the wind in my hair where I can do what I would like.
I would have lots of hobbies, one being karate, karuta or dance that I could go.
Still having responsibilities but feeling more me and better.
Summary in this alternative would be a smart high school girl detective who helps when there is trouble that lurks in any corner and be sharp like Sherlock Homles or Ms. Marple.
What’s the most money you’ve ever spent on a meal? Was it worth it?
Well…I’m living in Canada and all the expwnsive taxes with the economy.
Most of the food whether grocery or restaurant is expensive.
Well, I would say, the most, I spent on a single meal….
I don’t feel it is around the price of a normal meal, but it was like three entrees, so maybe so…
I believe it was around $80.00 and it was at a nice restaurant nearby downtown Toronto.
It was a new restaurant. I haven’t heard before, I don’t even remember the name but I can remember it was around 82.00 to 85.00 dollars for just me when the bill came.
And I thought, that was too expensive, with the appetizer being so small.
The only thing that was worth it, was the entree, with just this wonderful grilled salmon. With with some sweet potato fries and another kind of many coleslaw, or I believe it was like a nice salad on the side.
Also the garlic bread was really tasty.
Even tried other such good sides with small roasted potatoes and the steamed vegetables and there was this wonderful sauce that was chef’s kiss. 💋 👨🍳
And then the dessert, even though it was sort of a medium portion. I am a fan of chocolate. I am a chocoholic, so overall, I believe it was a little bit worth it because everything was cooked properly and had nice service with kind gestures.
But it could have been more reasonably priced. 🤷🏾♀️
What traditions have you not kept that your parents had?
My parents are not decorating or festive decorators, or put in the effort into making the holiday special other than going to church.
Or even coming to the festivities other than praying and giving grace.
For example, they’ve never cooked a Turkey on Thanksgiving. That’s something that I had to bring up.
I believe that decorating and sharing the festivities in going out, seeing a pumpkin patch, or going to the local farms is a tradition, and cooking turkey is a good tradition as well.
They don’t really do Christmas decorations or go around the tree. And putting up decorations to get into the Christmas spirit, I had to introduce that to make things lighter and festive.
Even with making up games something I like to put a tradition on. So we can just laugh and play with each other. They didn’t do that in their time because they didn’t celebrate Christmas festively and uniquely back in Africa.
They would randomly go around the shops and visit from sitting outside and just talk for hours.
That’s fine, but I think it’s important for me to part with my very own traditions which I see as a very nice part to invoke in the future for me and future family.
Well, it’s a typical summer day when the sun is shining, but a little bit different…
As before I would not have woken up so early to exercise, trying to get motivated by going for a bit of a walk and having a little bit of a proper routine.
It’s a bit typical, but sometimes I’m trying to work on adding a little bit of new activity or mindset each day. Either learn a new fact or do something that I haven’t done before.
For instance, I never really went for a walk in the morning, even though I was a little bit inside, I stretched my legs.
Also never really spent outside, mostly since I have a hybrid job, but I’m trying to spice up the typical day.
