Habit Stacking & Limits

How do you manage screen time for yourself?

I guess to manage screen time for myself is just realizing….that I don’t need to be on my phone or computer all the time just to have some entertainment.

Sometimes, I try the pomodoro technique, as in I would do 25 or 30 minutes of screen time and then just give my eyes a break for 5 to 10 minutes and stretch, especially when I work or I want to relax a little bit.

However, I would just say that a limit of screen time would be for like 2 to 3 hours per day if I was watching movies or a tv show.

Very recently, I have tried to put habit stacking a little bit….

The first thing that I’m trying to do is read more books. Not on my phone but physical books from the library or bookstore.

Another would be probably meditation and self care.

Sometimes, I would meditate, pray, and just focus on my breathing, especially when i’m too addicted and need to limit some screen time.

3 Wishes….What to Wish For

You have three magic genie wishes, what are you asking for?

What to wish for…..oh, that’s hard.

Well, one thing I know I can wish for at the third wish. Like Timmy Turner, I’ll just ask for more wishes until i’m okay with what I got.

But I think the first wish would be probably a potion….or a humongous case of a big potion.

The potion to heal any sickness from the common cold to a disease that just began, like a universal elixir.

Second wish, the ability to jump into another universe, made-up, or parallel worlds.

I love anime and always wished to join the adventures of my favorites such as One Piece, DBZ, and Haikyuu, or jump to my favorite cartoons or alternate worlds created by TV.

Third, if I’m satisfied, then finally I’ll would wish for a door or unlimited rings like Sonic to go anyplace in the world I could think of…spend less in air travel and more in enjoying the moment.

Trip to Space….Really Worth It

How much would you pay to go to the moon?

How much would I pay?

Well……it really depends on if the trip would be actually worth it?

I mean, who wouldn’t want to go to the stars and beyond.

Finally, landing on the moon and seeing the Earth from far away. The view would be breathtaking.

That would be a trip of a lifetime , but you would have to consider the cost.

  1. Cost of sacrifice and training that some people will have to endurance
  2. The fear of actually getting shot from a rocket
  3. Being away from the people that you love for a long time

So the cost of paying to go to space will probably take millions and millions of dollars, which I don’t have, so I probably would just stick it out on good old, Earth. 🌎

America’s First African-American President

What major historical events do you remember?

It was a historical event for me….

Even though I was smaller and didn’t have any interest in politics and couldn’t care less at the time

I could still remember the first time I saw Barack Obama in the news all over TV.

Everyone from strangers in the bus, in the mall and walking through the streets were talking about him

I didn’t know what it meant…

Until a nice elderly lady told me at the bus stop….. this is a change that helps people believe in democracy and 6 of the public that help

I was still confused since I was small, but it brought joy to nationwide and just seeing people happy and proud of a good leader

#23

When was the first time you really felt like a grown up (if ever)

Sometimes, I don’t feel grown up, as I go through life day by day.

But I think I got a reality check and realized and felt like a grown-up 2 years ago as I turned 23.

I just became a new aunt for the first time…

Got a new job that helped alot and better workplace environment…

Realized there were a lot of expenses that I am just paying off as an adult

Got a new wardrobe that I’m still changing to a mature look

All of the things that happened that year gave me a flash of realization that I am a grownup now.

When you want a change in your career because you feel stuck….

Or evolving your lifestyle into a healthy and better one….

Or challenging yourself to evolve your mindset, routine, outlook on life

It’s not going to be easy…..

So I am going through this, but the hardest goal I am taking right now is changing my lifestyle to grow better habits…doesn’t have a time limit but I wanna feel changes by 2 years.

Creativity, Discipline, and Self-Love

What details of your life could you pay more attention to?

As a quiet and nice person, I often forget about myself and focus on other people’s happiness.

Some details of my life I wished yhsy I could pay more attention to would be…

1. Self-Love: for myself because I’m too hard on myself and don’t appreciate it when I look at myself in the mirror

2. Creativity: These days, I focused on work and have been stagnant on the creative part of my life

3. Active: Just started being more active one step at a time, but I procrastinate and forget

Taking Some Risks

What could you do more of?

I’m a secure person who likes routines and being prepared so things can go exactly as planned.

When it doesn’t happen or one to two things go wrong, I get so upset and agitated.

But there are times when my life is so stagnant, and I feel bored

They do say taking risks is scary, but it might be worth it in the end.

I wanna go to different events, meet people, or try new activities outside my comfort zone, but I get afraid.

So I’m gonna work on dealing with unpredictable situations or putting myself in areas outside my comfort zone
