A Unknown Day Off

What’s a moment in your life that felt like it was straight out of a movie?

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off

It’s such a classic movie.But I watched it around a couple years ago, and it kind of made me laugh.

And got me thinking, maybe I should try taking off a day of work without anyone.Knowing pretending I was sick and just have fun.

So I kind of rolled with it

It was in November…

I was so stressed, because of work and I didn’t really feel like going one time.I believe it was three years ago or four…

So I just saw on social media that there was this thing called a woman’s show a nice event for women.Businesses in downtown toronto.

So I just decided to go…

I pretended that I was a bit sick and I didn’t really feel well in the morning.And in the afternoon while my parents and my brother were gone I just went out, used an uber and went to the show.

I went around learned all about the different kind of categories of businesses, either literature or selling clothes, food, perfume, jewelry. Their own kind of the brand that they’re proud of showing and sharing what they like to do in this special event. Holding animals and seeing fashion shows was a new experience.

It was just nice for me to spend some time with myself.It was kind of like my first big solo date.

Then, it came to the time I was very busy and forgot aboutyime, grew kind of scared. Someone was gonna find out that I didn’t go to I didn’t go to work. Or I wasn’t sick.

So I just rush back home, changed into my home clothes, and then just thirty minutes later.My mom goes through the door.

She just asked me how my day was like. I just stated it was actually quite typical. Then gave myself a wink inside the mirror.

And so I guess it kind of feel like the movie, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.

And so I just laughed at myself and reminisced the moment.

I highly recommend the movie.It’s a nice kind of classic movie.
