Reminders to Repeat Back

How do you handle fear and self-doubt?

Fear

Fear is always something difficult to conquer whether it be trying something new or tackling out your comfort zone. How I usually handle is 4 ideas.

  1. Deep Breath: Breathing in different techniques to let the body calm down
  2. Don’t Overthink It, Just Don’t It.
    • Got this after hearing the story of Nike and the owner’s self doubt and journey in a DharMann video.
  3. Repeat a single mantra in my heart and mind that helps you look forward.
    • Whenever, if I am afraid or scared of something. I chose a sentence that I remember from youth, advice and repeat it when I do the action.
  4. Prayer is Key: My Faith in God is what holds me together when I feel scared in any moment.

Self-Doubt

Self-doubt is the key aspect that always coming up and holds me back when I want to decide and leads me into overthinking.

What helps me are a couple of statements that I have heard that repeat to myself out loud.

  1. Whether you can or you can’t you’re right – Mel Robbins Podcast
  2. Would you rather say the way you are, or slowly change while being yourself into a better version
  3. Stop Thinking and Just Do It
  4. It is only after you stepped out of your comfort zone, you begin to change, grow and transform. Roy. T. Bennett
  5. You can surprise yourself, if you get out of your own head.
