A Rose for Rose Pasta

What’s your favorite recipe?

When I started to learn more about cooking and getting into home-cooked meals.

This was the first meal I made by myself following a nice recipe online.

Rose Pasta

It took a while for me to cook it well because I overcooked it a couple of times until I got it good. So it’s a bit of an achievement for me as a transitioning into home-cooked meals.

Here’s the link if anyone wants to try. And there’s a YouTube that shows good instructions.

It’s really delicious. 😊👍🏾

Calm & Centered

What positive emotion do you feel most often?

I guess being a quiet person has its perks, but most of the days, I really feel either calm and centered because I’m just taking a new outtake on life.

Everybody is always busy on any day. Just to focus on whatever life throws at them. But I’m really glad that most of the time that I’m really calm and centered. And I can think with the rational headspace.

Usually I would feel very tired or very stressed, usually every day.

The struggle of maintaining a good work-life balance.

But just taking the time just to step back, breathe, sit down, and take life one step at a time made me calmer.

Chocoholic at Heart

Describe your dream chocolate bar.

I have always had a sweet tooth. My favorite flavor is chocolate 🍫 😋.

I have tasted different types throughout my childhood and even today. Between white, dark, mint, fruit, spicy chocolate. My all-time favorite will be Milk Chocolate.

Dream Chocolate Bar will be two options, but the flavor will be milk chocolate.

1. It would have the nice elements of a Cabury Chocolate Bar, but inside will be melted chocolate texture of Lint Lindor’s chocolate that will be smooth ever time you have it in your mouth.

2. It’s can be crunchy that has hazelnut and shaped like Rochers Chocolate, but have the chocolate coating of a Hersheys milk chocolate bar.

A Legacy – One can Learn & One can Take

What is the legacy you want to leave behind?

A legacy…

Reminds me a lot when I’m watching WWE, and I see all the superstars become legends that are easily recognizable and their journeys are great.

All that taught me was that if I were to share my story that turned into a legacy…it would be that one can learn and take to everyday life.

All the lessons and mistakes that the average person in different situations is actually a learning curve for the future that people can take from….

I would say that’s the legacy I would want to leave behind

Unlucky/Lucky Thirteen

Hey, sorry it’s been a while since I posted anything.

Life always seems to get in the way that it’s kind of surprising how time moves fast.

I have gone through some lucky and unlucky events in the past few months that just changed my perspective on how everything is constantly changing.

Unlucky: Realized it’s just a couple more years till I go from my family and build my own life and need to learn to maintain the wonderful relationships I already have.

Sad because things are going to change more quicker than I thought and it scares me.

Plus a small unlucky procedure… Wisdom teeth removal is annoying and painful, but can’t avoid.

Lucky: Found a rare and wonderful deal to treat myself to a first ever vacation trip to a destination that is exciting and new.

Taking some time off of pressurizing myself and clearing my head in both work, home, career, and social life helps put my own happiness in perspective.

Different Varieties to Indulge

What activities do you lose yourself in?

I’m a quiet person, always shy to try something new.

Still getting over my shyness one step at a time with some activities I like and getting used to.

1. Binge watching Anime – I will always love watching anime by rewatching or finding new ones to watch for hours

2. Yoga and deep breathing – got into a nice yoga class and love just centering myself into relaxation

3. Power walks – walking is the kind of exercise that always help clear my mind that I lose myself and escape from reality a little

Wash, Look up or Manage

Something on your “to-do list” that never gets done.

With things to do, especially on a Saturday. There are many things on my to-do list, that some can get done quickly and some cannot with being forgottenor no time.

With one chore that never gets done, it’s usually….

A) Washing something that I forgot

B) Looking up a item, food or gift that I can’t remember that I have to buy

C) Managing bills that get paid later

Life gets busy, but it’s easy for some things to not get done…as long I put multiple alerts and reminders so I don’t procrastinate which will happen 😅

Boat Tour – Niagara Falls

Name an attraction or town close to home that you still haven’t got around to visiting.

I’ve been to Niagara Falls a couple of times when I was younger, but I haven’t ever been in the famous boat cruises up close to the falls in person. It would be great to experience and feel the splashing water up close.

A little sad, hopefully one day as a vacation activity, I’ll go to Niagara Falls and try this and some other attractions that I can check off my list.
