Nail Art & Digital Art

Are there any activities or hobbies you’ve outgrown or lost interest in over time?

I used to love doing my nails. But after a long time, it’s just focusing on other things. I kind of lost that passion and outgrown it.

I love doing different designs, different colors. Just express myself and I try to do it on people. It a little bit failed, but I did my best. I was getting better but I’m not sure why I stopped….

I think with the busyness of life and other factors coming in. I forgot about it and just focus on things that help me save time.

I would love to do it again. Open with looking at different youtube tutorials. The different designs, the different methods, just different patterns.Just, it’s stress free activity that I can do. And in the long run…It would be a nice idea to save some money.

The second one would be probably digital art that I lost interest due to time. I love the sprite art when I first started watching the youtube creator it’s called Super Mario Bros Z. Basically, its a mix between how the Mario universe just got mashed with the Sonic universe into this one cool plot of getting the chaos emeralds and defeating a central enemy.

That kind of spread to watching and playing games on Newgrounds. A cool gamer website. I think my favorite would be probably the tutorial mario games plus these two cool games of Final Fantasy Sonic and Wave Warrior Sonic. They had such cool plots, and it was fun and nice to play along.

I did wanted to start like a little bit on my own. I did try to bite a little bit on powerpoints and just trying to learn powerpoint even more. Also tried to learn like the software on how to do sprite flash animation. So I can do my own stuff. It was really cool and with my storyteller imagination. I would like to add a few things and then send to the creator just say I made this, hope you like it like a fan.

But I kind of stopped once flash software stopped being available. And with the other software it takes more steps. And I did not have that much time, because I had studying, school, work, and life just got in the way.

Storytime Before Sleep

What was the last thing you searched for online? Why were you looking for it?

Last thing I searched for was children’s educational bedtime stories.

I searched for it because I was worried about my sister-in-law. She said that both of her kids, my niece and nephew. They are not sleeping well through the night.

And she is getting tired and having baby blues.

I just wanted to help, because I thought maybe adding a routine and making sure they know when to go to bed and signal for that is that most kids like bedtime stories and kind of sleep when their parents are reading it to them. So they can have good dreams and their imagination can go wild.

Storybooks for children are a good investment. Because it really adds to their childhood plus kind of takes away from them being too addicted to technology which even happens to little kids.

It’s like reset not to look at anything just to relax and listen and just drift off to sleep.

I didn’t have any storybooks when I was a kid only when I loved going into the library but I plan on doing that when I have my own family.

Cartoons, Sitcoms, and Nostalgia

What TV shows did you watch as a kid?

Wow, where to start…

There were so many TV shows I grew up with as a kid! From the preschool days of Treehouse, to the classics on Nickelodeon, Disney Channel, Cartoon Network, and even some anime

I really had a wide mix of shows that shaped my childhood.

Ah, the good old days….back when TV felt a little more magical, before it started to feel like content was being rushed out more for quantity than quality.

If I had to break it down, I’d group my favorites by the networks I watched the most:

Treehouse & Nick Junior: The early shows that started it all.

  • Big Comfy Couch
  • Backyardigans
  • Franklin
  • Toy Castle
  • Timothy Goes to School
  • Thomas and his Friends
  • Care Bears
  • Rolie Polie Olie
  • Zaboomafoo
  • Arthur
  • Rugrats

Nickelodeon: Full of laughs, weird characters, and endless fun.

  • Fairly Odd Parents
  • SpongeBob
  • Danny Phantom
  • My Life as Teenage Robot Girl
  • Hey Arnold
  • Avatar
  • Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide

Disney:  The iconic shows that everyone at school was talking about.

  • Hannah Montana
  • Wizards of Waverly Place
  • Suite Life (Both Seasons)
  • Gravity Falls
  • Phineas and Ferb
  • Thats So Raven
  • Kim Possible
  • Proud Family

Cartoon Network: The quirky, creative cartoons that were sometimes hilarious…and sometimes just plain bizarre, in the best way.

  • Powerpuff Girls
  • Dexter’s Laboratory
  • Looney Tunes
  • Scooby-Doo
  • Teen Titans

Anime: My gateway into a whole new world of storytelling.

  • Inuyasha
  • Tokyo Mew Mew
  • Sailor Moon
  • Dragon Ball Z

There are honestly so many more, but if I wrote about every single one, this post would turn into a novel! So instead, I’m just going to highlight my top favorites….the shows that truly stuck with me, ones I loved then and still hold close to my heart today.

In Gravity Falls…Trust No One

What’s your favorite cartoon?

I would say my favorite cartoon up to this date would be the great cartoon that came around in Disney XD around 2012 or 2013, Gravity Falls by Alex Hirsh.

I loved this cartoon because it was so interesting.Had mystery adventure. It was really sweet about family and connections, and it was such a cool show that came out at a good time.

I really connected with the characters, Dipper and Mabel, because both of them were just like me and older brother going on our own adventures and always having each other’s back.

I was so sad when it ended in just 2 seasons. I was hoping for a third that would extend the story of the TV show, but it all worked out.
